Delhi Airport is proud to introduce the state-of-the-art Self Service Bag Drop (SSBD) facility with Quick Drop Solution, a pioneering technology in India and the second of its kind in the world. Aiming to streamline the baggage drop process, this new technology not only enhances passenger convenience but also significantly reduces wait times.

Key Features of the SSBD Quick Drop Solution:

First in India, Second in the World: Delhi Airport is the first in India and the second in the world after Toronto, Canada to implement this state-of-the-art technology.
Efficient Processing: The Quick Drop Solution reduces the baggage drop processing time from about a minute to just 30 seconds.
Multiple Units Installed: Approximately 50 SSBD units are operational at Terminal 1 and Terminal 3, ensuring a seamless experience for passengers.

Bag Tag Collection from the Kiosk: Upon arrival at the airport, passengers can collect and attach their bag tags at Common Use Self-Service (CUSS) kiosks.
Bag Placement at SBD: Place your bag onto the SBD conveyor belt.
Airline Application Integration: The system opens the respective airline’s application on the SBD machine with a single click.
Self-Declaration Form: To declare that you are not carrying any dangerous goods in your baggage, agree to the self-declaration form with a single click.
Verification and Drop: The system internally verifies all relevant criteria and business rules defined by the airlines. Once verification is complete, the bag is automatically processed.

Reduced Wait Times: The Quick Drop Solution significantly cuts down the baggage drop time, allowing passengers to move quickly to security checks and other pre-flight processes.
Enhanced Convenience: By bypassing traditional check-in desks, travellers enjoy a smoother and more efficient check-in experience.
